A very underrated album... a very underrated talent. I fail to understand why old Yes fans (ie fans of the classic lineup/Steve Howe fans) continuously slag Trevor Rabin off. Yes would have ceased to exist (it DID cease to exist) when Trevor came along, he wrote most of the songs off 90125, and he gave those old dudes another 8-10 years of viability, not to mention a couple more arena tours and a fair amount of coin. I also understand Steve Howe took some potshots at him in the press, which is just evil. But onto this's awesome! This guy is a great songwriter arranger and producer, and his vocals are great. Not to mention his guitar playing - everyone knows he can play the lights out.

if you like the band YES, this album is for you. it leaves me speechless, and it just showcases his talent so well. the guitar is amazing, especially in the first track 'i can't look away'. a must get.

Can't Look Away

If you like Yes(90215 and Big Generator), this album will not disappoint. Or Asia for that matter. It has that type of 80's sound for obvious reasons. In my oppinion Trevor is a very talented artist in lines with James Newton Howard. Maybe thats why they both do soundtracks now.

He formed his first band in 1968, at only 14 years old. After being drafted, Rabin played both guitar and bass in the entertainment unit. He began doing session work after his discharge from the military in 1972. It was also that same year that he hooked up with a group of musicians who began recording as Rabbit. That group recorded a total of two albums...
