iTunes Review

Returning after a six-year hiatus, the Florida indie troupe Copeland pick up in 2014 where they left off on 2008's You Are My Sunshine. This is a band that's never stopped evolving, with the lo-fi fuzz of early albums giving way to an increasingly melodic sonic palette. Despite the break, Ixora is Copeland's most sonically luxurious work. "Lavender" is propelled by a drum machine and fidgety synths that recall Radiohead, while the somber "World Turn" features a melancholy sax solo. Singer Aaron Marsh remains the focus, promising longtime fans: "I can make you feel young again," as if no time had passed.

It is incredible…Continues in the vein of reinventing themselves for each record..while at the same time retaining what we all know and love of this band.

Never been a fan but this is brilliant
