Hire a DJ or a something

The problem with the songs that have been selected across the board with these workouts is that they represent the top forty crowd. The people who listen to radio mixes and buy singles. People like me and others from what I have read are not happy with this herd type of music selection. Dig deeper into the 80s and 90s industrial, the punk scene of the 70s and 80s, metal in all its forms (black metal not so much), techno by artists other than The Crystal Method, rap and R & B is ok ( I personnaly am not a fan), but use the explicit mixes and hardcore material across all genres. Nothing is more frustrating than knowing the words and having them cut off or reworked, it throws off your run. In the end I would say that if you want a quality run at a guarenteed 10 min pace then buy the Run with Cadence CDs from ITunes. They have Marines, Navy Seals, Recon, Army Rangers. All these cadences are double time, and when you listen to them you naturally fall into the rythem of the tiny tiny feet (it sounds like the army in a full retreat). Plus these cds encourage singing, which is a good measure of if you are running to fast to carry on a conversation. Buy the cadence CDs and make your own workouts. If Nike/Itunes starts offering just the feedback so that we can overlay it that would be tops. A simple app to overlay the encouragement with the songs. Thats all we need. Hope this helps folks

same workout as Lance's (but music not as good)

I bough both Lance's endurance boost and this one hoping to get some variety...but this was NOTHING different. Music was kinda cheesy. Sounds like Kara was almost reading the same script as Lance. At least lance had more powerful music. Also, it wasn't even a full 40 min workout...it's 32 mins + a warmup and cool down.

Great Versatile Workout

In this workout Kara leads you through 4 reps of 4 minutes, plus a warm-up and cool-down. Anyone from a recreational runner to an semi-elite runner can benefit from challenging yourself with this workout. A recreational runner may cover less than 800m each 4 minute session, while a semi-elite should cover nearly a mile. The motivational directions from Kara, an IAAF World Championship Medalist, will encourage and guide you through the run. Hopefully Kara and other stars of Track & Field will create more of these great workouts in the future.
