Customer Reviews

Still sounds great 25 years later.

If you're a fan of The Brand New Heavies, Soulive, or other bands with similar sounds you need to check out Benny and Us. The sounds that AWB came up with during their run have never been dupilcated but have been admirably imitated and expanded upon during the ensuing years. Benny and Us is classic soul, jazz, funk. These guys were legit and if you are a fan of TBNH and Soulive this album - as are all AWB albums - is a must.

The Best of the Best

Both Ben E King and AWB rose to a very special level for this album. I consider it the finest R&B/Soul album ever recorded.
