Album Review

Like the Wind in the Trees is a collection of meditative and relaxation pieces from Deuter's New Earth CDs. This new age master is a living legend. He creates music that serves many functions. These compositions have deep psychoactive properties. The atmospheres are tuned to brainwave activities and the rhythms match heartbeats. Deuter's performances are flawless. His deft touch allows the tracks to flow as if they were created specifically for this project. This essential CD will appeal to fans of Dean Evenson, Kitaro, Nawang Khechog, and Riley Lee.

Transports you!

I love Distant Islands. When I first listened to it, I was working away on something and I just felt my mind wander to a vista of gorgeous blue skies and white clouds reflected in a green ocean dotted with coconut tree waving islands..... Listening to that song is like going on vacation! Lovely! Didn't like Amida too well but all the others are beautiful. Gaia dreaming herself awake is simple and haunting. Great buy!

The trauma of a nearly fatal auto accident in 1970, however, motivated him to pursue his dreams. His first recording, D, was released on Kuckuck in 1971....
