Album Review

After several years' hiatus, Richie is back with a greatest-hits package that includes three brand new tracks. Most of the expected material is there, including several Commodores tracks (reminding just how brilliant a ballad "Easy" really is), so fans aren't going to be disappointed. Of the three new numbers, "Do It to Me" is the standout, with "Love, Oh Love," practically a "Lady" clone, being fairly forgettable. Proof positive, all told, that even at his sappiest ("Endless Love"), Richie is a master of the mellow ballad.

Wow the best of Lionel Richie what a great tribute to his work and love songs. Amazing collection of his best!

the GREATEST Lionel Richie songs ever! There is so much variety too. Songs like, All Night Long, Do It to Me, and My Destiny will put you in a dancing mood. And songs like Endless Love, Still and Truly are so sweet and loving. bravo lionel.

A Great CD for any Lionel fan.

Lionel's beats in all of his music, especially "All Night Long (All Night)", are hypnotic and enticing. Anyone who dislikes this type of music would instantly fall in love with it, because of Lionel. Great CD. 5/5, just for the fact that Lionel Richie is a great artist.

Richie dominated the pop charts during that period with an incredible run of 13 consecutive Top Ten hits, five of them number ones. As his popularity skyrocketed, Richie moved further away from his R&B origins and concentrated more on adult contemporary balladry, which had been one of his strengths even as...
