Not his best, but obviously still amazing

MIKA has been my favorite artist since forever. His second album, The Boy Who Knew Too Much, was his best album in my opinion. Every single song in it was a masterpiece. I could, (and did), listen to the whole album all the way through multiple times. All of the songs from that album, his second one, were the top played songs in my iTunes library.

Of course, this album gets 4 stars just because it's MIKA, but I'm not feeling this album as much as his previous ones. As other reviewers have said, every song just feels a little bit generic and boring. The difference is that on his second album, each song had an entirely different feel to it, and each one was amazing. Perhaps partly because there are more songs on this album, he couldn't have spent as much time on each one.

It's still MIKA, so it's wonderful, but for new listeners you should really buy his album The Boy Who Knew Too Much. You won't regret it for a second.

I like kinda like his song underwater but I'm not so sure about the other ones .3.

Gay God Bless You Mika :)

So Hopeful and vibrant! Got to hear Elle Me Dit last year upon embarking on "the camino"….
what a great tune to keep you moving (great video too:). He has such a nice flow that lifts you up without seemingly tying to..enchanting!

Born Michael Holbrook Penniman in Beirut to a Lebanese mother and American father, Mika and his parents moved to Paris while he was still very young, and eventually London by the time he was nine years old. The frequent moves, incidents like his father being taken hostage at Kuwait's American Embassy, and bullying at school affected young Mika to the...
