What happened?

What the ehck happened to Jack Russell's voice? It sounds like crap on this record. Where is the gruff, rocking vocals we all love and want? Also, too many ballads.

Great White is BACK and in top notch form.

If you even remotely like Great White, get this!!! If you love Great White, you will be in extasy! This is some good ole rock and roll with a shot of the blues that the boys are famous for playing. With the resurgence of good hard rock it's good to have Great White back. The resurgence wouldn't be complete without these guys.It has great songwriting, singing and melodies. Listen to this one time and you will be hooked!!! Mark Kendall's guitar playing is top shelf on this gem. Jack Russell's singing is as good as ever. He hasn't lost a thing. Add the numerous talents of Michael Lardie with his vocals, guitar, keyboards, mandolin, sitar, harmonica and percussion and Audie Desbrow keeping the beat and the newcomer Scott Snyder on bass (replacing Sean McNabb) does a great job laying it down as well. There are no fillers on this CD. This CD has it all. You can get it cheaper here on itunes than you can in most retail stores. Don't hesitate, GET THIS NOW!!!

Total disappointment

I was hoping for something that would rock. This is adult contemporary, middle of the road pap. Do yourself a favor, and listen to Hooked instead.

While one infamous nightclub show eclipsed their previous achievements, the hard rock/heavy metal band Great White would much rather you remember their Grammy nomination for Best Hard Rock Performance, the over six million records they sold, and their double platinum album ...Twice Shy. Formed in the early '80s by vocalist Jack Russell and guitarist Mark Kendall, Great White were regulars of the L.A. club scene, playing their Led Zeppelin- and AC/DC-influenced metal to a quickly growing fan base....
