This is Metal

This album just knocked the wind out of me. No sophomore letdown here.

Return of the Queen

Color me astounded at how quickly Huntress banged out this album, and especially with a heightened touring schedule after the clamorous success of Spell Eater... but the quality holds up. The band is tighter on this outing, playing off each other and not to mechanically restrained (like you might hear on a DragonForce album) and the music flows here more naturally. Ms Janus' insane vocals on once again out in front, and again, she doesn't disappoint. I use this album as sonic fuel for a host of household duties, especially when I'm cleaning or cooking, and man, it just makes time FLY to be banging your head between searing off chunks of roast! Do yourself a favor, get some really good steaks, grill them outside, and bang this album as loud of your stereo setup can manage whilst doing so. Your ears will thank you, you will get laid, and the steaks will taste better. You may thank the Starbound Beast afterwards.

An INSTANT Classic

For those who say this is terrible, please stop looking for music you don't like. This is Metal at its core, so true to classic style with a sophmoric entrance of this band. If you think this is terrible, go back listening to beiber, or whatever crap you destroy your ears with.... Major Props to Jill Janus, her voice has found a devilish key that draws your soul into her very breath
