EDITORS’ NOTES

To Be Loved, mixes big production covers—including “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” from Toy Story and “Have I Told You Lately That I Love You”—with originals like the lead single, “It’s a Beautiful Day.” Add in guests Bryan Adams, Naturally 7, The Puppini Sisters, and actress Reese Witherspoon (“Something Stupid”) and To Be Loved is like a jaunty musical/variety show hosted by the impeccable showman Michael Bublé.

IT CERTAINLY IS A BEAUTIFUL DAY!

In an overcrowded music industry packed with countless generic pop singers, Michael Bublé is truly a diamond in the rough. Everything about him, from his richly textured falsetto to his incredibly charming lyrics, feels genuine and meaningful. He simply doesn't need to rely on auto-tune or high-tech vocal effects to enhance his voice. He's just a natural-born singer, which is why my anticipation for his latest record, "To Be Loved," couldn't be higher. I've already become addicted to the catchy first single, "It's a Beautiful Day," so here's hoping that the rest of the album won't disappoint. But seeing as how Bublé always manages to top himself with each new CD, I highly doubt that'll happen.

Say what?.......

I've seen him 2x live and the man can def sing - no need for autotune. With that being said, I can't think of any studio albums that have not been tweeked or polished. It is what it is - base the man's talent on a live show (which by the way is always humorous) Cheers to Buble!
