Only the best from Enya

This new album from Enya contains perhaps her best works ever. There are many different Enya songs on this album ranging from the slow ballad "If I Could Be Where You Are" to the newer rock-like song "My! My! Time Flies. Included in this album is a lesser known song "Aniron", a previously unreleased song from the hit motion picture Lord Of The Rings. To die hard Enya fans out there, like myself, this new album will not dissapoint you. I personally love Wild Child and The River Sings...and I am so glad both are included on this greatest hits album. Enjoy!

Great Collection of Beauty!

This is a superb collection of Enya's greatest works. One track i'm suprised didn't make the list was Book of Days. Besides that this turned out pretty good. She's definitly made a mark of her own.

Anything new here? - Yes, sort of

The Aniron track is a new version--turning the track from Lord of the Rings into a complete vocal song, with simple synthesizer "strings" background instead of acoustic strings. The most striking change is a firm ending to the song. Its possible this has been released on the B side of an obscure single, but its the first time I've heard it.

Otherwise there are no other new tracks. Hopefully we can get at least one new single with an original new song in conjunction with this release--but one has not been announced.

Enya is from Gweedore, County Donegal, Ireland, which she left in 1980 to join the Irish band Clannad, the group that already featured her older brothers and sisters. She stayed with Clannad for two years, then left, hooking up with producer Nicky Ryan and lyricist Roma Ryan, with whom...
