Great Instrumental Work

This is a strong, though maybe too mellow for some, showing from original Journey members George Tickner (who played rhythm guitar on their first album), and bassist Ross Valory, who besides being one of the most consecrated members of Journey, also played for Frumious Bandersnatch, The Storm, Vu and No Nation. Joined by respected keyboardist Stevie Roseman, they dish out a diverse record that points back to the jazz-fusion they played in the seventies but has the production quality of a contemporary album. These are musicians that obviously know how to play together, as the album never displays the type of one-upmanship that these sorts of outings can bring to a fore.

Stunning Album!

This album is truly a masterpiece! Each tune is intricate, well-crafted, and unique. VTR has managed to blend a variety of musical styles into a beautiful musical arrangement. This album is highly recommended, and should be listened to as whole.
