Back in the Day

This is a great album for all you old school breakers, Lookout Weekend, When I hear Music, Funky Little Beat, all classics. This is a must have for anyone who was raised in the 80's!

An Excellent Old School Freestyle Classic

I like "When I Hear Music" by Debbie Deb. It is so cool. I'm recently into the whole old school freestyle music like Stevie B, Sweet Sensation, Cover Girls, Pajama Party, Trinere, stuff like that. I'd recommend this album to anyone who is a total diehard fan of old school freestyle music!

An early freestyle vocalist, Debbie Deb was discovered by producer Tony "Pretty Tony" Butler while she was working at a Peaches record store in Miami, Florida. At the time, Butler was known for "Fix It in the Mix," and within a short period, he collaborated with the teenaged Debbie on two significant singles: "When I Hear Music" and "Lookout Weekend" (the latter a number 26 hit on Billboard's dance singles sales chart).
