In Chinese the word "Qigong" has two characters, Qi (Chi) and Gong. "Qi or chi" means life energy and "Gong" means daily effort. In short, Qigong is a practice to use Qi for different purposes including self-healing. "Therapeutic breathing" occurs when you breathe slower than 10 breaths per minute without an effort. Breathe lightly and naturally without force or tension. Your goal is to log at least 10 minutes of slow therapeutic breathing per session. With as little as 40 minutes of slow breathing per week.
