Did you know that a group of geese on the ground is a "gaggle", and a group of geese in the air is a "skein"?
Did you know that like fingerprints, everyone's tongue print is different?
Did you know that a cup of gasoline, when ignited, has the same explosive power as 5 dynamite sticks?
***Note from Developer***
OK, I think we figured out what you guys meant by "doubles" :) What we did was scour through our facts one by one and deleted duplicates. However, facts still show up "randomly." As a result, because facts are chosen at random, you may encounter a fact that you've seen before. BUT, you'll notice that you didn't COLLECT a new fact, therefore, the fact collection counter will not be incremented. Please look forward to a new update that will allow you to go through these facts sequentially, instead of randomly. Thanks for the feedback!
What's New in Version 3.3.16
* Fixed significant image issues on iPad Retina/Air devices running iOS 8
* Now uses native share options via iOS
This app has a lot more factoids then I ever thought I would see in one app, however there are a whole slew of info that is just not true. Even when I use the in app option to check the truth about the app, it leads me to sites that debunk the claim. One factoid states that people swallow an average of 8 spiders a year. There has not been any claims regarding this. There are other facts that I have come across that was taken directly out of your typical e-mail or Facebook chain messages. I do like reading these so I don't plan uninstalling, but I will just realize these for what they are. Entertainment with little to no truth behind than.
Do not download
Where do I start off on how terrible this app is? The spelling errors? Repetitive "facts"? The incorrect "facts"? How about the "fact" about Bette Davis, which only reads "She died October 6th, 1989"?
Seriously, this is terrible, I must've read the one about Tigers' skin being striped six or seven times out of the 750 "facts" I read. Not to mention the totally incorrect assumption that the Sahara desert is the largest on Earth, it isn't, Antarctica is, look it up, or saying Vatican city is the only country on Earth to be land locked by a single country when San Marino, 200 miles away, is landlocked by the same country, Italy. Plus the spelling errors are endless, I get it, not everyone is perfect, especially with spelling, but it was SO much.
Seriously, don't waste your time with this garbage.
Not bad, but some problems
The app is amazing, but some problems are, it being to informal like when a fact ends with a "!" And others with a "." One fact ended with "wow, amazing huh?" Also some facts are repeated, such as barbie's full name, also once it said you can't fold a paper half more than 7 times, which is true, but another time it said that you can't fold a paper more than 7 times, which is false, and finally very rarely a fact will get cut off.
