Monitor only mode

I was really wanting to just be able to monitor from the app and control on the camera. Problem is every time you touch the camera you get a huge dialogue box telling you the camera is in use. Why???? What's the point of that? Why can't that be disabled??? I hate giving negative reviews because I really like the camera (lx100) and the company. There are just some things like this that strait out make it unusable for certain applications. I'll change my review if this ever changes, but for now, sorry Panasonic. You're getting a low score :/

A wretched app

A terrible app, and a shame given the excellence of Panasonic's cameras. Transferring images from the camera to iPad or iPhone is an awful experience. Unlike the analogous Olympus app that lets you see the photos in the device screen before transferring, with this app you must select them on the camera. Hence, it's pot luck whether the images transferred are really the best. I bought a Lumix GX8 to hoping to replace my Olympus PEN, but I may return it -- the joy of shooting with the Lumix is marred by having to use this wretched app for transfer :-(

Works great for viewing camera photos on my iPad

I don't need this to act as a remote control for my camera. I'd almost prefer they separate that into a different app. I just want to browse photos and movies and this works fine for that.
