Love it but,mHoping for a.expansion if not played dual destinies do not read
I really love this game it gives an idea of what lawyers do even if some of its fictional. But what I'm really hoping for is a expansion because in dual destinies it says 7 years ago edgeworth and phoenix had gone to court to incriminate a murderer of Athena's mom and got a guilty verdict on the wrong person (samurai blackquill) because of lack of evidence and also in dual destinies there is no sign of maya at all and pearls doesn't come up till the very last episode so I would like an expansion to know exactly what happened to maya and pearls and also to play the case where Asturias blackquill was first convicted. But I would also like if there were more episodes than just one more too. Also when and why did phoenix adopt Trucy and when did Athena and Apollo become his students and why did he give up his attorneys badge. These are the questions that been running through my mind after playing all Phoenix wright games. Those are some of the reasons I want an expansion and that I love this game. Otherwise I'm giving this game 5 stars.
Ruined my life. 5/5
I absolutely love this game, and I have a ridiculous amount of hours put into it. There are a couple of issues that affect the game minimally, one of them being typos. I've noticed a few typos here and there, but I don't mind them because none of them make the statements incoherent. Another problem is in Phoenix Wright: AA, Day 3 Investigation Former. Edgeworth will not complete his story about why the shield was changed and you cannot continue because you need to update the trophy in order for the next character to show up. However you can easily get around this by going through the main menu and choosing trial latter, this will bring you to the next immediate area directly after that trophy updates, so the only thing you will be missing will be a "finished" checkmark next to trial former. Overall this a great game, and definitely worth it if you're into story heavy games.
Not what I was hoping for.
I'm sorry, but when I hear that a game is "HD" I expect it to surpass the original in art, animation, and sound quality. While this game is indeed less pixelated than the originals, the re-drawn characters are not impressive beyond being less pixelated, as many of them look amateur drawn, there are mistakes in the character sprites, frames of animation are missing, and the soundtrack in this rendition of JFA was taken from the GBA version. Why? You had the vastly superior DS soundtrack to use, why didn't you use that version? It would have helped make the game overall more enjoyable. There are also some typo's occasionally. Overall, this isn't what I would expect from an HD version, and I would like it if these problems were corrected if possible.
To clarify, this means I would like this game to use the DS soundtracks, have the character sprites redrawn with quality by a professional who knows what they are doing, and insert all the missing frames of animation.
I'm sorry for being picky, but I am disappointed.
