If you enjoy using Sketch, please share a nice review. It really helps!
This is just like drawing on paper after just a little bit of practice. Integration with Adobe stock means it's very easy to find images to use for reference and place them right on your drawing board. It would be great if you could place multiple images for reference, but this should be solvable by using an image editor to compile a few into one image for reference, which you can then place on the image and draw right next to it. Also try using safari in split view on a larger iPad Pro, really good way to look at reference while drawing. Overall very highly recommended for anyone who enjoys pencil sketching and wants to get into digital art.
Very easy to use, nearly perfect
The only thing I'm missing is the ability to resize components and the use of layers. I would love to be able to adjust my composition before exporting. The workflow has been very smooth, and after just a couple minutes of playing around I had learned to create pallets and mix media and brush settings without interrupting my pace. Very happy with how comfortable this app is to use.
App does what it's name suggests
Great for sketching, but several of the features you'd expect from drawing in Photoshop are missing or impossible to figure out. Color picking, canvas size adjustment, and lasso selection are all sadly absent. So, the app is not great for highly rendered work.
That said, it's a fantastic app if you like quick expressive work, and don't care about the exact size of your piece.
