“The game looks gorgeous, tells an engaging story, has fantastic voiceovers and will have you in stitches at some of its many outrageously funny moments. It’s hard to avoid clichés sometimes: Al Emmo is solid gold.”

Slow at the start, but it picks up some
Slow at first, took some time to get used to the controls. Enjoyed some of the snarky-ness between the narrator and Al, but was excessive at times (as in, I don't need to listen to a comment every time I touch an object, over and over again.....) There were times in the first couple of acts that I seriously questioned why I was still playing. But it picked up around act 3 or 4 and became more interesting.
Difficult to locate some needed areas, hard to tell where the paths are at time. Be careful at the end not to touch the screen or it will skip the whole cut screen and you'll be left wanting. If this happens, go back and "load" your game again and complete the ending to see it. I had to do this a couple of times because it is so sensitive.
This game brought me back to the time when I spent hours in front of a PC playing all of the Sierra Adventure games. I can only hope more games like this will be made or remade.
I am also an avid reader of all things related to the lost Dutchman's gold mine. It was great how aspects of the real Dutchman story were incorporated into this game. I found that particularly intriguing and probably what held me interest starting the game. Also the controls were really easy to use and navigate. I am ready for more!
Fun Adventure Game
Thank you, developers! This is kind of like the old Sierra games, and I'm really enjoying playing it. The music is great, the voices are excellent, and it's very funny too. There's a lot of back and forth but there's also a map (which you receive later in the 1st chapter). I recommend this game to everyone that loves true adventure games.
