Defiantly needs more work to keep up top with the iPad pro

First off, this is the only app that is helpful in drawing mandalas. It’s a good way to pound them out fast when you have too many ideas floating in your head. Also, as an app, make editing a mandala easy, so you don’t screw up a mandala you worked hours on. And the original size is actually quite big (something like 20x18 inches), for those who print these out on wide format. However, it needs some help
1) the pixelation is a MENECE. Changing the “canvas” to a 4K resolution(before you start drawing, not after) helps tremendously. But to keep up with even the Apple notes app, that needs to be improved.
2)the app is not easily imported to other drawing apps. Not absolutely sure who’s problem that is, but it would make the app 10x more useable and convenient if it got along with other applications. (Easiest way to get the drawing to interact with other applications is to save to files as a jpeg, NOT to iBooks as a PDF)
3)already stated in many reviews, the Apple Pencil does have a lag SOMETIMES. I’m not experiencing it, it seems, as bad as others. Restarting the app seems to do the trick, or going back to it about a half hour later

Pretty (but) Pathetic

Written instructions non-existent. Functions — e.g. width, opacity, and quality of line — adjusted by marginally useful “icons” in addition to more involved menu choices re same. Color choices limited although the method for mixing them is fun if not long-term useful since as near as I’ve been able to tell palettes don’t save. My one request for assistance was met with an “I can’t replicate that” therefore can’t help reply. (If I could have replicated it I probably wouldn’t have asked for help!). I know of some fine work imported from Amaziograph by individuals whose work I admire in Pigment, so I’m giving this a higher rating than I otherwise would, since I figure some of my difficulties are due to majoring in trial and error learning. What prompted this review was what I hope was not a last straw event: the app froze on my iPad so I took the now-usual action: I deleted the app and reinstalled it. All my work — admittedly not a lot but it was my work — is gone. I think I’ll try find a different app for these functions . .

Severe lag with Apple Pencil iPad 12.9” on iOS 11

First off I’d like to say that I’m in love with the drawing aspect of this app, but there are some negatives. The most urgent bug for is that since iOS 11 on my iPad 12.9” my Apple Pencil is having a 1-2 second lag. The other thing that should be fixed is when saving multiple drawings to the photos app it only saves a maximum of 5 drawings even if more are selected. I recently went through 4,000 drawings saving 5 at a time then deleting them to keep my place. Really it just needs better file management to get it up to a pro level app. I really hope that the dev(s) consider these improvements for future updates, even as a an IAP. Thx.
