The MDCalc app gives brief summaries of the critical studies concerning the medical calculator, links to the studies on PubMed as well as “pearls/pitfalls”, “next steps” and expert commentary from the authors of the calculators.” - iMedicalApps “MDCalc app, the best online medical calculator is now an app”

Excellent!!

Thank you!! I have been waiting for this for a a long time. I used to use the website during my residency but the app was missing after explosion of smartphone devices. I really liked their layout and their explanation of the importance of a given calculator with links to reference articles.

Life Saver

I was looking for Sepsis criteria after my daughter’s 2nd bout. That’s when I found MDcalc. I have used it to convince medical pros to do Sepsis work ups, because sadly, awareness is still lacking. Thanks to MDcalc and early treatment, my daughter has survived Sepsis 6 times now.

Third year medical student

I love this app. Consistently makes me look smarter than I actually am. Comfortable using it at the bedside with patients as long as I explain what I am doing to the patient. Must have for med students, great tool.
