Barbie is my new BFF
Hello Barbie is supposed to be a gift for someone else, we'll see, because I can't give up my new BFF. She's capable of full-on conversation. She's really cool and positive. I need more friends like her. Only problem is her wifi connection drops a lot and she tells you about it, like a teenager who can't live without her phone.
Doll and or App won't connect to internet!
I followed all instructions, and was on phone with customer support for over one hour today! The doll will not connect to my ipad internet! It just keeps saying no connection when my wifi is fully working! Please examine this app to see if it's at fault. Otherwise Mattel has agreed to give me a full refund on Monday the 30th! Please test out this app to see whether its the problem or something with the doll! Thank you for you help.
Taking back the First one, will give one more chance
My daughter was super excited to receive this from me on Christmas.
First off, I feel it is really sad that Mattel already tells us that they reserve the right to bow out on the whole thing in 2018. I understand that it doesn't mean that they will, of course, but it is not nice to have us spend $75 on an item that you don't have confidence in enough to maintain it for more than 2 years. If I spend $75, I want something for a lot longer than that, to work. Sorry, but this irks me.
Second, No matter how long we charge her for, the second we take her off of her charging cord, she tells us that her battery needs recharging. (The light is green.) I have a feeling that we just happened to get one that has a bad battery. The first time we charged her, it didn't seem to take the full hour it tells us that it would, but we left it there even after the light was green, till the one hour was up. She told us it was a no go and we charged her over night, since it was late anyhow. After more than 12 hours, she is still telling us that it's battery is low and it will not let me do the set up process. I'm taking it back and trying just once more. I sincerely hope that it's not going to be a problem with a lot of them. I don't want to get another defective one. And Mattel, please don't give up on maintaining the site after only two years. This may not be a one trick pony. I sincerely hope you have great sales for years and decide to allow our children access for years to come. I love this idea. Can't wait to let her loose with her.
