The air of entitlement from other reviewers is quite frankly an embarrassment, and a downright shame. The developer worked hard to produce an app with one of the best conversion designs I've seen thus far, and with a supremely simple and intuitive watch app to accompany the iPhone experience. I'll gladly pay the price of a morning coffee to support great indie dev work like this. The pricing model could use work -- I'd recommend using the in-app purchase to grant access to the Apple Watch functionality instead of blocking currency rates -- but the design itself is deserving of praise. Thank you, and keep up the good work!
Simple, beautiful interface
It does exactly what it should do with minimal fuss and taps, and looks great doing it. Ignore all the negative reviews about in-app purchases. Yes, it costs a few bucks to unlock the full app. Why are people complaining about receiving only part of the app for free? I'd rather have the opportunity to check out the app before paying than pay up front just to see what it has to offer. Stop punishing developers for not giving everything away, and go use something free (and probably worse) if it bothers you.
Best interface for the Apple Watch
The interfaces of most currency converters make entering new amounts difficult, undiscoverable, and/or unintuitive. They only get worse on the small screen of the Apple Watch—which should be the easiest device to use when you want to quickly check the price of something in a store in a foreign country. This is the only app I’ve tried that’s designed to quickly enter an amount in one currency and see what it’s worth in another. How no one else sees that as the point of a currency converter is beyond me.
