Get more done in Ping: we've added the ability to mark conversations as done so you can clear them out of your home screen and keep it tidy. Give it a try by swiping right on any conversation or by tapping the checkmark inside a conversation.
Conversations on your home screen are also now known as active conversations. When you receive a new message, that conversation is marked active for you to respond to.
We've made other improvements as well:
• Push notifications now bring you directly into the conversation
• Kit's email previews load much faster and more reliably
• Performance has been improved throughout

After installing, I started receiving notifications from other companies’ customers and their responses. People were asking for, among other things, support in purchasing charcoal toothpaste. Order numbers and personal information included. Some in English. Some in Spanish. Some in Chinese. I have saved screenshots and am making sure to disconnect from Facebook immediately before I compromise my company’s and my customer’s security.
Thanks for getting in touch and we appreciate your interest in Shopify Ping. For a short period of time on June 21st, push notifications on Shopify Ping were not correctly configured. We took immediate action to resolve the misconfiguration and the app is now up and running without issue. Feel free to DM us if you have any further questions.
Ive been testing this for the past 3 days against our ads team. Results are lower 2.5x ROI on Ad siege vs our team average of 4.75. But it’s better than nothing. I’ll continue to test and push for improvement on ROI.
