You want to tune your cars in Forza but the choices seem extreme: download a locked tune where you have no idea what it's doing. Or tune by hand which takes lots of time and number-mashing on a regular calculator.
As my grandfather always said, "Any job is easy if you have the right tool."
ForzaTune 7 makes tuning easier by automatically calculating precise settings for better grip and control while driving.
+ Tune results based on race car engineering.
+ The ability to customize results to your driving preferences.
+ Support for Forza Motorsport 7 and Forza Horizon 4.
+ Tunes that match your driving surface or track
+ Dry, drift, drag, rain, dirt/snow and off-road options to match the conditions.
+ Aero recommendations for each track in Forza 7.
+ Gearing calculator to keep your car in the power band when you make big upgrades.
+ Ability to quickly save, search and make changes for other tracks or build types.
+ Free tutorial videos and link to our driver training programs.
What makes a great tune?
A great tune has to match the car, driver and driving surface. Anything less and you're missing out. ForzaTune 7 addresses all three.
How does this app work?
ForzaTune 7 uses a detailed physics model to create stable and fast setups. This model, along with a database of 10,000 vehicle data points, means you get more accurate tunes faster.
Don't settle for anything slower.
Download ForzaTune 7 now to tune and drive faster.
Q: Is this for beginners or experienced tuners?
A: Both. Experienced tuners use it to save time and make extensive use of the tune customization abilities. New tuners use it to break into the world of tuning. If someone recommends "learn how to tune" this is actually the best place to start.
Q: Why is tuning your cars important?
A: Suspension settings start to mismatch as you upgrade a car. ForzaTune brings everything back to a stable, balanced setup. Also, tuning doesn't affect your PI or race restrictions -- so it's one area where you can find a real advantage over other racers.
Q: How do I use the app?
A: Copy several car details from the game into ForzaTune, hit "Next" and copy the results into the tuning menu in Forza 7 or Horizon 4. Drive and adjust if you want to change the natural "personality" of the car. We also have a series of video tutorials on YouTube to get you started.
Q: When should I use the gearing option?
A: Select the gearing tune option if you add a turbo, supercharger or perform an engine swap.
Q: What settings and upgrades do I need?
A: You will need racing upgrades like suspension, braking, and anti-roll bars, and differential to change the values in the tuning menu. You can also use drag, rally and stock suspensions if they are adjustable (like off-road buggies and some trucks in FH4). You will also have the best results if you disable stability management (STM) and traction control (TCS) for lower class cars. Normal or simulation steering is fine.
Q: What is included?
A: ForzaTune includes dry, rain, drift and drag presets plus gear tuning capability. It also includes a dirt/snow and off-road option for Forza Horizon 4. With ForzaTune your results are powered by 10,000 data points manually collected for each vehicle in the game and 190,000 track measurements used to profile each track in Forza 7. There is nothing like it available in the Forza community. ForzaTune also gives you the ability to save and search your tunes, change display units and more.
Q: What about aero and tire widths?
A: You no longer need to enter downforce values. Instead you get a recommended downforce amount based on your track. ForzaTune 7 will also account for most tire width combinations automatically.
Q: What if I need help or have a suggestion?
A: Please send an email using the link in the main menu. ForzaTune wouldn't be what it is today without the Forza community's input, and you can count on a personal response from the developer (that would be me, Anthony).
Whether you are tuning in Forza Motorsport 7 or tuning in Forza Horizon 4 you will be ready for the fun, mostly crazy Hot Wheels vehicles. This update also adds the 1973 Porsche #6 Penske Sunoco 917/30 Can-Am Spyder spotlight car.
The complete list includes Hot Wheels editions of: Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1, Chevrolet Camaro Super Sport Coupe, Volkswagen Beetle, Rip Rod, and Ford Mustang plus some updates to the Bone Shaker and Twin Mill.
As always if you have feedback please send an email. Enjoy!
Ratings and Reviews
Wow, just as you’ve always been. All of your ForzaTune apps have been great. You still have a few more tweeks to make it perfectly matched to Forza Horizon 4, but it’s really close. Having to match it up with the closest comparable track from Forza 7, that compares to the type of driving and the surfaces you plan on driving on was a great start, and you’ve already improved on that. Nice!!!
I’ve been playing Forza since Forza 3 and added 1 & 2 as well. I’ve been using your tuning apps since you began making them. Like Forza, who makes each game better, as well as making the tuning better and more options, you’ve made your apps more user friendly, and more detailed as well. Sometimes I have time to play with the tuning, but even then, your app is not only quicker, but it’s more accurate and creates a better overall tune than I can most of the time.
Thanks for creating it and for keeping the price at a reasonable amount.
P.S. Just a little FYI. I still have ForzaTune 4 & 5. Actually 6 as well. And I understand it doesn’t make sense to support 4 & 5, and I still have them on my phone, some may not. And I still occasionally play all of the past versions, especially 4 & 5 with the backwards comparability, I play them on Xbox one. But I play 1-4 on 360. But it would be nice if you at least made them available for download.
I’ve been playing Forza since FM1 and I have to say this is the best tuning tool I’ve used so far. I know some are worried about the missing aero option but it doesn’t seem to affect the out come of the tune (so far). I normally tune by feel but that is a long process and I don’t always have that much time this was very fast I was on the track racing in five minutes with a working tune. The sliders are great for fine tuning the car for your driving style as well. For all you new tuners out there I would suggest playing around with the sliders it will teach you what to adjust when dealing with a handling issue. This was an easy 5 stars for me.
Wow what a difference
Best way to tell it’s working is take the same car before the tune and do some laps. If it’s a short track do 5-6 laps to get the tires warm. Then put in the tune with this app. I shaved my #72 Ferrari BBLM down to 7:09 on the Nurburgring and the R class isn’t maxed out (R836). That’s not bad for me since I’m only using a controller. The steering is a bit touchy but I don’t have any assists on and I probably need to mess with the app some more. I’ve always used these apps for the other forza games and this one for sure doesn’t disappoint either.
