Step by step Guidance As to What To Expect
Babycenter is very informative. It provides weekly status updates of your pregnancy from conception to the third trimesters. Also, from newborn to 10 years old. I always look forward to the weekly topics for your baby/child developments. Also, it has tips/advices from other parents to help new parents i.e. what you really need for the baby during the first year, Q&A, how to take care of yourself, how to make time for you and your partner. Plus the additional tools available to track your pregnancy pictures, capture baby moments, growth, weight etc. Thus, this is by far the best baby guideline a new parent can ever ask for.
Lots of useful information!
When my wife became pregnant I started asking my friends who had already gone through the experience about books to read to get information and almost everyone gave the same response of downloading the BabyCenter mobile app.
The information in the app is great and has become an addiction for me to use this app every single day reading every article and viewing every video they have to offer. This app is very informative for first time expectant parents like me
Not worth it
This app includes many articles, but they don’t give you articles on your feed that are necessarily relevant for the week you are in, although they seem to try. For example, when I was 12 weeks I got an article on “flying tips”. I’m not even showing, and so I am perfectly comfortable on a flight. I was getting articles on maternity clothes from week 5!
As a first time pregnant mother, I found many of the articles not interesting or obvious. Some people may like this for the community, but I found the posts on the community page obnoxious. Just my opinion, though.
