Ratings and Reviews
I have enjoyed Chess Time for several years, and love it. I have played with all kinds of players from all over the world, enjoyed good conversations in the chat section, and have been challenged by both Strong and weaker players. I highly recommend this.
One of the great features that was added a little while ago was the ability to undo a move. I have been in the middle of a couple of great games where either my opponent or I made a stupid move. Rather than resign, in some cases it is great to be able to take a move back and continue playing. I have also use this feature with weaker players who were interested in improving. We walk through a few moves, and then we take them back and try another line. It’s great.
The developers are great about taking suggestions and making improvements as well.
Excellent app, but could use improvements
Great app! So good, I feel compelled to suggest improvements.
The main feature I use is the Analyze feature, which is two clicks, not one, from the main playing screen. I rarely use Moves, which is one click. Switch them!
More importantly, when I do use Moves, usually during a postmortem, but also occasionally during games, there's no way to put an intermediate position automatically into Analyze so that I can easily experiment with what-would-have-happened-if. The small amount of programming needed to transfer positions from Moves to Analyze would really enhance the app.
Love it! Developers please read
Ive been playing this on and off for a few years and its the best chess game ive ever played online, hey guys!! Can you also make a short timed game so people can play head to head and finish a game in one sitting, like a 2 minute timer or something, its the only thing that is lacking, id love to play a quick full game when i have the time! I usually play 7day for when life happens but sometimes we are ready to play straight through, thanks again 🤩🤩🤩
