Makes life easier while working on the road !

This app along with any smart phone will make your life easier ! After putting in my info and card numbers, it's saved securely into the system . So I don't have to do it each time I book a room ! After making your reservation, all you will need is your ID & card when checking into front desk . A quick scan of both and your off to your room with in minutes! If your like me & work out of town a lot , I suggest you join their honor system . You get points for each night you spend and they add up QUICK ! With in my 4th stay I was a Diamond member. As a Diamond member the extras never end ! I get a free bottle of water , sometimes even a small snack each time I check in . There is even special parking privileges that come along with being a diamond member. While the Company I work for pays for the room , I save the points for when I take the family on vacation! This last time I stayed 1 weekend Friday night - Monday morning for free ! All it cost was a few honor points ..

You can't go wrong with this app , bottom line !!

Can't Check In


After getting a morning email telling me to check-in for my upcoming stay, I went to the app. At first, I got a message telling me that check-in was unavailable, please try again later. Later in the day, I tried several times and got as far as loading available rooms when the app froze. After making two calls to support (the first person was totally clueless, forcing me to hang-up after explaining what was going on at least 6 times, and the second person was totally unintelligible - she shouldn't be working in a call center) and spending over 45 minutes on the call, I was told that the latest version of the app doesn't currently work with the iPhone 6, 6s, 7, or 7s families. The representative also stated that they have known about the issue for several days and that they are working on it. I was also told that I can always check-in at the hotel. BTW, I was also advised that the electronic key doesn't work with anything below the iPhone 8/X series.

If the app doesn't work with certain series iPhones, temporarily block the affected devices from the update download.

I have previously been very happy with the app and never had an issue before this release.

Continually has gotten worse...


I used to have this app rated at 5 stars but am struggling to even keep it at this point. If a I can’t use the app, maybe it’s time to consider switching my loyalties to another hotel chain for all of my regular business travel. First, the very annoying over aggressive push to have customers use digital keys. Yes, we get it. The more that customers switch to digital keys, the less staff a hotel need to employ at its locations. Well the keys do not provide enough of an upside to eliminate the wonderful desk staff. Instead of digital keys, how about you fix the guest room doors so that that they don’t slam shut so hard and so fast? I’ve nearly lost limbs on these things. Two, as of this morning the app suddenly isn’t showing any of the 7 upcoming reservations I’ve made at various locations. I’ve signed out, deleted and reinstalled the app, and now I can’t even sign into the app. It’s now completely useless. I have an iPhone 8 Plus with all of the software completely updated. What a shame... I like Hilton and used to love the app but now the app is completely worthless.
