Ratings and Reviews
So I read some reviews that mention it's great for artists and drawings... color grabs etc.
What?! Can we use it to draw? If so, I can't find that. We select colors and do what with them? They're in a tidy list. And....?
Directions or expanding the capability is a good plan here everyone. I have no idea what the purpose of this app is. Please, don't ask me what I want to see. :)
Received developer response.
I am an artist irl. I simply don't understand the need for this app as I use my eye for color to choose pencils and paint. Never occurs to me to use my phone to help me choose a color. I wouldn't learn if I relied on an outside aid. Just a personal preference.
I misunderstood the apps purpose. The promotion said it was great for artists so I assumed that meant digital art. I'll stick with Procreate.
Often apps lack directions and users are often left perplexed. It's very confusing for those of us who enjoy reading to learn. Now that I see what this app does I understand why I left that confused review. This entire review wouldn't have occurred if directions or a tour were included.
I'll delete this in a few days. Just wanted to clarify. Thank you for the response Arty.
This is an app for artists who draw or paint with physical mediums. If you're looking for an app to draw in, there are many other good alternatives on the App Store. Thanks for you understanding.
Best. Drawing. App. Ever!
I have been doing pencil portraits from photographs for years and using a plastic overlay app was time consuming. Having a grid (adjustable grid, at that) directly on the photograph has saved me time and has greatly improved my drawing accuracy. When I get ready to experiment with colored pencil drawings, I look forward to using the new color match feature. Thank you so much for the great app. It was just what I needed!
Great App esp for Colored Pencils and Graphite
I love this app. It helps me begin to choose my colored pencil palette, it offers me an option that is similar to a surface contour map and, just as amazing, gives me a grid that I can print with my picture! My question is whether there is a way to remove ‘saved colors’ so I can limit what I see in that option to colors I’ve chosen for a single picture. Thanks to a great developer.
