Fun, but a slight disappointment.
First bought the game for my iPod and greatly enjoyed it. So when I upgraded to an iPad I decided I should upgrade to the iPad version as well. Unfortunately the lag in the frame rate is quite noticeable, and not every part of the game has been optimized for the retina display (e.g. the characters and planets are of a comparably lower resolution than the controls or the text). Still a fun time-killer, but a little disappointing coming from The Iconfactory, which regularly produces quality material. Nothing that can't be fixed in a future update though.
Great game, but poor remote syncing
Took almost a dozen attempts to get my iPad to recognize my iPhone and use it as a controller. The device was clearly available and could be selected from the iPad, but upon selection absolutely nothing happened. Remote troubles aside, the game is fantastic.
Lots of fun
Great little app. I heard about it on twitter, thought I'd install it and play a couple levels... I'm lucky my work timer went off or I would have lost a few hours to it! Very addictive, polished, and fun.
