Open up new worlds of creative music making possibilities with Audiobus, the app that lets you use your music apps together, just like virtual cables.
Send live audio or MIDI from one Audiobus-compatible app or Audio Unit to another: add effects on top of your favourite synth, use your favourite step sequencer to drive the whole lot, and record it all in your favourite DAW, sampler or looper. Plug in a MIDI keyboard, run it through an arpeggiator or a key quantizer, and record the result in your DAW, or drive several different sound generators with a keyboard splitter. The possibilities are endless.
Then save your setup in a preset to be restored with one touch later on.
With a completely new MIDI routing system, support for Apple's new Audio Unit Extensions standard, a new built-in mixer, and huge new workflow improvements, Audiobus 3 represents a big step forward for mobile music making.
Audiobus has a rich community of over a thousand great compatible apps, including:
- Korg Gadget
- Loopy HD
and many more. See the full list at https://audiob.us/apps.

- Fixed an issue where using the system audio input in one of multiple pipelines to an output app could result in audio lag or silence
- Fixed left/right edge screen lag for AUX keyboard
- Fixed an occasional crash when switching presets with the same AU present, and sped up preset switching
- Fixed a crash caused by some strangely-behaving effect apps

Ratings and Reviews
At First I was hesitant to buy Audiobus 3, I’ve owned Audiobus 2 for awhile but I wanted the Midi and AU capabilities. When AB3 was released I read there were some issues with the first installment so I held off. However as soon as the new update came out v3.1.1 everything was fixed and I purchased the app. With the Audiobus Bundle I even got a discount. I love it, connect all your music apps and send them to record on individual tracks...Yes please! I’ve used it everyday since purchase. Midiflow adapter allows you to use even more apps that aren’t compatible. I love using all my music apps together, adding effects to any audio and controlling apps with midi controllers/sequencers etc.. and the AB forum is one of the best iOS music resources out there. The Developer is responsive. If you make music on an iOS device this is an essential purchase, and should be one of the first apps you buy. AB2 is in fact the first app I ever paid for. Cheers.
A must have for all iOS musicians
If you own a couple of music apps that support Audiobus and especially if you own a few Audio Unit intruments or effects, you are doing yourself a big disfavor if you don't own this app yet.
It puts all the pieces of the audio routing puzzle together and lets everything jive together as a perfect matching ensemble. And version 3.1 takes it even a step further with the great new workflow improvements.
I started out with Audiobus years ago but at some point when AUM got released I moved away from Audiobus. However with version 3.1.1 and the improved and very solid support for Audio Units it has drawn me back into the Audiobus camp and feels like returning home. Thanks to the developer's fantastic support it also fixed a couple of technical issues i was having and everything now plays like a dream.
Highly recommended app. Get it now if you don't own it yet!
Full five star rating ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and both thumbs up 👍👍
Very, very good app… Except for one thing
This app is very, very good, except for one small problem. As a voiceover user, I cannot access the mixer controls. Voiceover, which is a screen reader built into all iOS devices, tells me that the mixer tab is dimmed or grade out. This makes it impossible for me to actually access these controls, which means that as a mobile Internet broadcaster, my levels are always at the highest end of the scale and in danger of clipping. If we can get this fixed in the next Version, I would be very, very grateful.
Aside from that, I’m very happy with the functionality of this up. Great work guys!
