I want to pull my hair out using this app
This app is beyond frustrating. No matter how many times I try to change my account preferences, it refuses to save the changes, and for some reason my default location is ALWAYS Vermont. If I want to save a sighting, I need to drag this tiny pin across a map that won't stay zoomed out (I'm in CA so I basically need to move about 20x in tiny increments to get to my location). Since the map doesn't stay zoomed out, when you try to move the pin it's ridiculous trying to be precise about where you are. I truly wish I hadn't paid for this app and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Great App, Desperately Needs Another Update
I'd really love the app if all the features worked properly. One can look up a bird and identify them fairly easily with the "Advanced Search", but the features associated with adding sightings are in need of another repair. It doesn't recognize my location even after I've checked the app has access to location services.
Audubon Guide to Birds and Butterflies
See review #1! This was a great ap until they tried to improve it. With every new improvement it has gotten more frustrating. First all my sightings were reposted to 1969 which could not be changed. Now among other things all my posts originate from Vermont and I don't think I have ever posted from there. I live in WIsconsin! Help! I am ready to delete this ap.
