It's bizarre! It's dark! It's colorful! It's cute! It makes you want to brush your teeth! It's.... Ball of Woe!
• Over 70 GameCenter achievements to earn!
• Four leaderboards - become the Global God of Sadness!
• Roll through eleven levels of turmoil and finally reach Heaven!
• A rich soundtrack, tailored to each level.
• A deep storyline - gradually revealed as you roll through the world.
You - are God. A dusty God. A sepia God. A grittier kind of God.
The citizens of Nicetown are sad. And cute. And whiny.
But they've taken uncharacteristic initiative and rolled their sadness up into a ball.
Oh God - oh You - employ your salty finger, employ the magic of physics - and liberate them from their tribulations.
Over a lush soundtrack, over deliciously-painted landscapes, roll the ball away from Nicetown, interrogate the Woeful, liberate the Zus, engage in a little light mail tampering... and roll.
Roll through Forest. Roll over Mountain.
Roll through Volcano and through Cave.
Roll through the Clouds, roll into Space.
Roll into Heaven. A Heaven... of sorts.
The most minuscule of updates! Bringing you barely-perceptible improvements to achievements and statistics: Because EVERYBODY loves mathematics! Right? Right?!
And as always:
An affordable Ball for all budgets!
More bang-for-your buck for Anti-Puff power-ups!
Insidious social commentary!
Ratings and Reviews
This game is very good and addicting, except when you get into space the game starts to lag a fair amount. Also, the amount of Woe earned each round doesn't make much sense. I had one round, didn't even make it to the forest, but I got about 1500 Woe. I just played a round and I got to space, but in that round I also got around 1500 Woe. I suggest adding a Woe bonus whenever you reach a new terrain. This game is very addicting and fun, but it would be a whole lot more so if you would fix the lag and the rate that Woe is earned at (or just make the things in the shop cost less).
Simple and addictive.
The only things that ruin the experience is the faulty game over system which calls you out even if your hovering above a tile for to long or your about to land on another tile and the fact that the game wont remember your ball and totem selections when restarting. Other minor problems are the dialog boxes which in some cases can cause death (they should be some what transparent) and I know some friends who hat the fact that the tiles don't arn't texturally connected. Other then that this game is very enjoyable and is a great way to pass time.
Cute. Simple. Addicting. Wacky. Time-Wasting. Awesome! I can't stop playing! I do admit that the process of starting over is excruciatingly long and difficult, though dying quickly is extremely common. Otherwise this one of the best games ever. Even though I hate how you constantly have to pick which ball you want to use every time and the text is annoying. Still amazing! I would totally recommend!!!!
