Simple all-in-one access to your digital music collection and favourite streaming services like Deezer and TuneIn. Navigation and playback are easy and intuitive. iTunes library and music on DLNA servers can also be played from the app.

Enjoy our signature design as you turn your smartphone into a Bang & Olufsen-designed control centre. The app showcases the striking Bang & Olufsen speakers and TVs connected to your Bang & Olufsen account.

The Bang & Olufsen app requires one of the following products for multiroom and music streaming: Beoplay M5, Beoplay A6, Beoplay A9 (2nd gen), BeoSound 1, BeoSound 2, BeoSound 35, BeoSound Essence (2nd gen), BeoVision Eclipse, BeoSound Moment, BeoSound Core, BeoSound Shape and speakers running on BeoLink Converter. BeoSound Essence (1st Gen) are supported for TuneIn and DLNA playback. What’s more, the BeoLab 50, BeoLab 90, Beoplay A8, Beoplay A9 (1st gen), BeoLit 12 and the Playmaker can be set-up and configured through the app.

Version 1.9.5

In this release, we improve how problems are handled when setting up products. We also introduce a new product controller page design, functional animations and tweak the layout of settings. iPad users will now see a new split-screen view.

Making progress..

The app works fine for me to control and pair my A9+A6 but it lacks a bit of flow, especially on iPad. The good news is that its constantly being updated to remove bugs and update the overall design. My hope is that they will work on the Radio section next. The app doesn’t share the same design style as the hardware. I will probably stop using it once AirPlay 2 update comes for my speakers.

Buggy version 1.9.1

Pollen Generation

I never experienced any drops in my connection via AirPlay/WiFi until the most recent update. My music plays for 22 seconds and drops. I reconnect and it drops again in 5 seconds or less. B&O, please, fix this issue. Thanks.

Update: I fixed the issue. It was an easy fix. Now my speaker is playing as good as always 👍

No support for recent equipment

Always quick to add new equipment but even faster to drop support for earlier equipment - especially that equipment they NEVER truly supported! How can such a high end manufacturer be so cheap and terrible in supporting their products? I will never buy their equipment ever again!!!
