What's New in Version 1.2
- Fixes for newer versions of iTunes and OS X 10.11
- Added ability to "love" a track when using newer versions of iTunes (12.4.1+)
Simple, yet effective
Love the ability to rate songs from any desktop without having to navigate back to iTunes. Simple, yet effective. It could be taken to the next level with a keyboard shortcut to access the menu allowing the ability to rate songs without mouse interaction.
YouControl Tunes has major licensing issues since its "company" doesn't exist anymore and I'm tired of figuring out how to fix it everytime I update anything.
This kinda does the same thing. It has no ticker for the song name or customizeable icons though. It does display the album cover art inline which is neat.
This actually crashes MORE than YouControl Tunes did in El Capitan though haha.
I love this addon companion to itunes. Does what it says it does. The developer is a great guy who acknolwdged my feedback quickly. New version has a slim looks which is good for status area real estate. Im a happy bartunes armchair user.
