Great General Overview of Your Spending
For a free app, the amount of features you get is fantastic. Monitoring all of your accounts in a single place and a free monthly credit score are my favorites. Some banks and cards have unwieldy apps and it's convenient to just check here where I can log in quickly and easily navigate through the clean interface. Purchases can be divided into category and can even be viewed on a per-card basis. If you'd like a general sense of where your money is going without having to track all of your receipts, this is a great starting point. I can't even remember seeing a single ad.
One downside is the connection time it takes to reload communications between the app and your cards. However, it updates itself fairly regularly and if it's not the normal half a day or so that it's since updated when I open it, it's never more than 3 or 4 days. It doesn't matter regardless sense most transactions take that long to finish pending and you can't manipulate or graph them while they're doing so. I can only assume, also, that the refresh time is half the fault of the card providers and not Prosper Daily's.
I really like this app. It has some nice features for tracking your money; Touch ID, pre-assigned categories and ability to add your own, weekly TransUnion credit score, notifies when new charges are made, option to have bills/purchases memorized, allows you to rename the transactions, add categories, and bill reminders. It's like having an accountant in your phone.
I agree with those who complained about the NOTES feature not working. You can make the note, but can't save it. It would be nice to have. I did noticed that other features will be added in the future and look forward to that.
Overall it's been very helpful for me to have a constant visual of my money. I'm goal oriented and this App has actually helped me to curtail spending in frivolous areas to pay off some debt. Unless you keep the figures in front of you and tweak a budget it's easy to lose track of finances. This makes that so easy.

Let me start by saying the Customer Service ("Happiness Team" as they call themselves) are the best I have dealt with in a very long time and will go above and beyond to come to a satisfactory conclusion. I am a former Experian/ProtectMyID customer and I have had to create new accounts every time I had to renew. I went back and forth for over two months with no resolution so I was very happy to switch to Billguard. I was fed up as I had a profile with a saved credit card but their system would not allow renewal. Should have been a simple task. I am very happy with Billguard.
It is now June 2017, approximately one year since my initial review, and I have to change my review and rating. It seems the staff with the original Billguard "Happiness Team" are no longer with the company. Since Prosper Daily took over I have been emailing Customer Service for several months and no one responds and there is no way to contact them by phone. All I get is the automated response and nothing else. Not sure how they can expect to keep customers this way.
Let me be clear. The product is excellent when it works but the rating is regarding Customer Service.
