I've played alot of real pool, and can say assuredly this game is fun, and much like the real thing. The action on the balls interacting with the rails; using, English, draw and topspin are very realistic. You almost feel like you are playing real pool, and not a game on a computer.
I came across the game online, tried it for free, and then to come to the App Store to download it. (The trial version quits after 10 shots and you have to restart it to play again.
I would recommend the game if you like to play pool, sharpen your skills and understanding of how the cue ball reacts when hit a certain way: English, draw, topspin, soft and hard shots, rail and bank shots, combos ... you name it you can do it just like on a real pool table!
It's fun to play and I had a difficult time putting it away.
Graphically It's a nice looking game as well.
Kind regards ...
Billiards Lite and Billiards are the same.
Excuse me, I had Billiards Lite installed that cuts the game short until purchase. Then I noticed Billiards free version, which cuts the game even shorter, until one licenses it for 4.99.
What gets me is there is no difference, Billiards free should’ve stayed free. Just put the right price on the page where it belongs, and be up front about it.

Now there is just one Billiards version. It is free to download and try. You can shoot up to 10 times per new game. And if you want to play unlimited, you can buy any of the InApp Purchases within the game.
I purchased this game because it is (as far as I know) the only billiards game in the App Store that features straight (14.1) pool. The table is so small, and the pockets are so big; not realistic. Also, it’s difficult to play on the MackBook's touchpad.
