'Blanks' is a simple application helping you to learn new
English words. It shows you word definition and gives 4 choices as answer.
Select one of the choices by dragging it on the hole in the paper.
If you are correct, a green hock is displayed.
If the selected word does not fit to the definition, you will see a red cross.
The word definitions are from Wordnet. The application developer is not associated in any way with Wordnet.

Great But Keeps Crashing
I love the idea of this app, and it has a lot of vocabulary in it that I did not know previously. But it keeps freezing and crashing. When it crashes it defocuses so that when I swipe up it pulls up the phone menu (with screen lock, flashlight, ect) rather than moving the word.
I also think it would be nice if it had a hard mode where all of the words sounded plausible. As it stands it only has one difficulty, and on that difficulty I found myself often distinguishing between words based on their roots and endings. I often felt like I was developing my test-taking skills rather than my vocabulary.
The area the words get dragged to should also be coded to register in a bigger area, as currently you have to drag the word there fairly precisely in order for it to register.
If the app didn't crash it would be a four-star app.
