Customer Reviews

Why did they drop the Orientation Lock feature?

I've been a big fan of the Bluefire Reader since it initially launched because of the extra features like Orientation Lock. This latest upgrade dropped the Orientation Lock feature and I already miss it. I find it very frustrating to have to adjust my reading position to suit the iPad. I hope they restate this feature soon or I'll have to find a different reading app.

So many flaws!

I use this app to read pre-published books but it's such a bad app. No orientation feature, no dictionary, difficult highlighting. It's as if they just don't care. Getting the file sent to my Kindle is so difficult I don't even bother. Then they expect us to write a review of the book but sometimes I'm so frustrated with the experience, I don't care to. Please fix this app!

Never update your iPhone

There is no way to back up your books in this app and having had to update my iPhone recently from backup I lost all my 20 or so books from the University of Chicago! Gone! Forever! Before I could even get a chance to read them!!! No way to back up and deleting your content, that is unacceptable. Do not use this program. It is evil.
