Not moving in the right direction here...
I have actually overall been pretty happy using Box to store and organize my files over the last several years. I prefer the UI to the several others I've tried out (I HATE Microsoft's OneDrive, for example). But over the last year or so, I have been through two or three rounds of issues where the app would either crash repeatedly or refuse to open any PDF files (which accounts for probably 90% of my files).
The good news is those issues seem to be fixed (for now). The bad news, and if it's not fixed very soon, what may be the final straw, is that while the latest update fixed the crashing and PDF issues, it inexplicably took away the option to organize files and folders either in the traditional manner, alphabetically and numerically. Everything is now organized only by what's been opened most recently. I've looked repeatedly through the settings options, and if there's still an option to change that, it's REALLY well-hidden. I cannot imagine I'm their only customer to have a major problem with this. A lot of my folders have 30 or 40 files or sub-folders in them, and I have them organized alphabetically or chronologically. Or I should say I HAD them organized that way. Welcome to hell if you're trying to locate one of them now.
Worst cloud service
With this many options for cloud storage they are lucky to get two stars. Yes the app works, but not nearly as well as it could. It far too often crashes or won't update files or folders. If your password expires the app will not tell you it just gives random errors until you log in on a web browser. If I could rate the desktop program (box sync) I would give it 0 stars due to its lack of options, inability to handle large files, and its inability to recognize files that are already synced after installing (which results in it creating a duplicate of every file).
Great app
I love the service I use it for my photography but can you please make it so it can read .DNG files and so I can see what photo it is and be able to download it to my camera roll app also can you please add a multi select button to download my photos and videos.... you make it so we can upload a lot of photos and videos but have to download 1by1
