Best calendar app, period

I've long been in search of the best calendar app for iOS, and this one is head and shoulders above the rest. It has truly intelligent task integration -- much better than Fantastical or any or the other ones -- as well as iCloud compatibility, robust recurrence and invite features, and many useful and well-organized views both on iPad and iPhone. Really well made, powerful but not cluttered, and keeps your pain points to a minimum. They even did away with Apple's annoying default number scrolling thingies and replaced them with a quick purpose-built keyboard layout listing all the common choices, alongside a "custom" key for those who want to get fancy. Some people complain about the fact that each month is a static page in the month view rather than continuously scrolling, but for me this is preferred; often with continuous scrolling I have to take a second to figure out which month I'm looking at. With this app you can quickly skip to the month you need, and it's always clear what you're looking at. Great stuff. Buy it.

They STILL refuse to fix a bug!!

This is a great calendar app, as all the reviews clearly show. But there is an annoying bug that we've had to deal with for YEARS, and despite contacting support multiple times and waiting patiently, they still REFUSE to fix it, even though they assured us long ago that they would.

This bug goes all the way back to the release of the iPhone 6 Plus. Since the 6 Plus has such a large screen, the Week View event boxes are stretched out large enough to contain about four lines of text, but they still only display the first part of the event description like they did on the smaller screens. This leaves the majority of the event boxes completely BLANK. This is a massive waste of space and means that we have to drill down into every event one by one in order to actually SEE the title to really know what that event is. For instance, all we see is "Meeting with" and nothing else! This is a very simple fix for them; literally 10 minutes by one of their programmers, but they just flat out WON'T do it.

I will leave my review at just 1 star until they actually show some courtesy to their paying customers and correct this long overdue problem!

Only app I use daily

I have stopped using the native calendar app because I prefer the interface and look of Calendars 5. What I need is a single place to keep track of my schedule for the day, as well as any tasks I need to complete that day. Calendars 5 allows me to do that so seamlessly that I love it. I can, in a glance, see what needs to be done by the end of the day and what needs to be done at a certain time. The app is pretty intuitive--I didn't have a big learning curve with figuring out its features, and it syncs beautifully with the native calendar (and reminders) and with any other devices using Calendars 5 under your account. I have the app on my iPhone and iPad, and as soon as I create an entry or cross of an item from one device, it is updated on the other. I continue to be impressed by the app and recommend it to anyone searching for a solid calendar/task manager.
