Clarity is one of the biggest breakthroughs to happen to image processing in a long time. Clarity analyzes your photos and makes several intelligent adjustments that magically bring out details and breathe life into dull photos. With Clarity, you’ll stop throwing out bad photos… you’ll be amazed to see what it can do to photos that you’d typically consider unusable, like shots that came out too dark.
Most modern digital cameras all have scene modes to help you get the best photos for your particular situation. With Camera+, you get to choose from several scene modes including Food, Sunset, Night, Portrait, Beach, and many more.
Professional photographer, Lisa Bettany created a slew of stunningly beautiful effects. Make your photos shimmer with “HDR”… get down and dirty with “Grunge”… fill your pics with emotion and despair with “So Emo”. And this is just the tip of the iceberg… there are dozens of 1-touch effects for you to experiment with.
All the pics you take in Camera+ go in the innovative Lightbox where you can quickly and easily skim through them and get rid of bad shots. You save only the photos you’re satisfied with so that your camera roll stays neat and clean.

What's New in Version 6.1.1
EMERGENCY BUG FIX:
Thanks to all of the very diligent 1-star reviewers, we were quickly made aware of a few big bugs in Camera+ 6.1 and we worked our collective butt off to get them fixed ASAP, bringing you this 6.1.1 Update of Shame.
What’s new in Camera+ 6.1:
It’s been said that “you can please some of the people all of the time, you can please all of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time”. Well, today, we’re very proud to continue with our mission of pleasing some of the people some of the time with this new release of Camera+!
To kick things off, we have a new Pro quality setting. For those of you who are willing to sacrifice your precious storage space for the sake of capturing and saving the absolute highest quality images you can get with your iPhone, this feature’s for you. With this setting, your photos are stored and processed in the TIFF format with lossless compression. Pro quality isn’t the kind of setting you’ll typically want to use all the time, but for those extra-special shots where you want the utmost in quality, this will definitely do the trick.
Next up is a little enhancement that we’ve added to our innovative Front Flash. Before this update, you were limited to either having it on or off. But now in Camera+ 6.1, you also have an Auto setting for it so that you can let the little gnome that lives in your iPhone decide whether it should be on or off. Because gnomes know best. This, of course, leaves you with one less thing to think about when taking selfies so you can simply focus on doing your best pre-2014 Renée Zellweger impression. And yes, we want to see those, so please share!
And lastly, this is for all of you who’ve left burning brown bags of unmentionables on our stoops for us killing iOS 7 support in Camera+ 6. You poomongers will be very happy to hear that version 6.1 works on iOS 7. Of course, you won’t have the benefit of being able to use the new manual camera controls, macro mode, and Photos extension that are only available on iOS 8, but those are just an OS upgrade away for you when you’re ready. We’ll wait patiently…
That’s it for now. We’ve got some big things coming down the pipeline for both this iPhone version of Camera+, along with a huge, long-overdue update for the iPad version. Have faith!

My go-to default
I'm running the latest version on iOS 8.1 and I'm not having any issues at all. The Clarity Pro module is not just hype, as others are (Click a button and BAM, instant perfection.) This clarity module gives the user some slider control over how much you want to apply and with what level of intensity. After using it, there's usually nothing else to edit. It also makes good use of the new ability to send images to other apps or places. The camera itself, if set on full manual, can take some getting used to, but you'll be rewarded if you play with it. In that mode, it's certainly not point and click, but there is a fully automatic mode with auto focus, etc. Since the app and latest update work perfectly for me, Unless you have some reason to buy another camera/editing app, this is the only one you need. It's NOT perfect. In manual mode for focus, exposure and white balance, you can't slide the options out of sight or hide them. Even though the contrtols are kind of transparent, you still can't see about a third of the photo you're taking. I have an iPhone5c so maybe you can see more of your subject if your phone is more gigantic. If not, its very annoying and I'd love to see the UI tweaked so there's some way to move them out of the way and back. Some sort of toggle.
I have been a customer since tap~tap~tap first started. I watched it get better and better. I don't know if the creators remember me but a few Years ago I wrote a manual. Basically I took their user manual which were in no specific order on line and printed them all. Then made dividers between the sections and designed a slick looking title cover. I took a few pictures and sent them to the creators. I only did this for myself because I love this app. I've probably this app to over 150 people and they became believers. Actually this type stuff I do for a living. I'm a marketing director for a medium sized firm and making a user manual was kind of fun. But it's obsolete now. The technology is so advanced that anything you do will be no good because of changes. This app has come a long way. For those who have read this, order this and if there's any charges for add ons buy them! You so t be sorry. There is no one app better then this in the entire world. I commend the engineering photographic experts for their many hours of hard work. I hope that you all have achieved your rewards and payback time. Thanks a ton for your work.
From stellar to okay with the new iOS.
Whether it's the new iOS or what, I'm less in love with the app than I used to be, and I've been using it for years. It is about as close to batch editing as one can do on an iPhone, but I now find that when I select pictures it will import them in an arbitrary order, which is more than a little annoying when you are going through some thousand or more images in batches of 100 at a time. In fact, following writing this review, I'm going to do some homework and see if I can find another app to do my editing in, as it's been months and we haven't seen an update. If you're just shooting a few pics, it's okay and the filters are amusing (and the lab is useful if rather awkward to negotiate), but if you're shooting larger quantities and pulling in after the fact, you might want to try a different app.
