Won't take photo image of checks
I have been trying to deposit with this app for awhile and almost every time something goes wrong. First, it would not allow me to take photos of the check but acted as it I did and sent a notification that I had reached my limit of deposits for the month!! Which was not possible as I could not get the photo link to work!! Had to go to my bank instead.
Tried reloading the app again but still did the same thing. With all the resources available to citibank they should have an app that is fully functional and up to date. So frustrating.
I have been a customer for over 18 years and this is a real problem for me. I wish they would read this feed as it seems very few customers find this app a workable solution for digital banking.
Works fine for my CC account
It seems most of the negative reviews are related to the banking features. The app works fine with my CC account. I'm able to see statement and pending transactions, including payments to the account. The quick view feature is fantastic four knowing where your balance is at and recent transactions. I'd I need to log into the account for me info or to make a payment, it's been quick and easy. Perhaps avoid this app if you bank with Citi. But it seems great for credit card customers.
Pros and cons
The app runs okay but is slow slow sloooowwwww. I hope that it's because of all the extra security in the background but not sure. To be honest it feels like every time I press the button it's hangs like it's about to crash.
Also if you try to use the app while using VPN the app refuses to work asking you to call tech support.
The biggest problem now is every time I try to deposit a check it says it says memory is running low and will crash unless I stop every other app in the background and restart my phone.
