WHAT ARE PEOPLE SAYING?
"CloudPlay makes it really simple to add lots of music from lots of different places to a single playlist. On top of that, you get videos, too, which was so cool, I had to turn CloudPlay off to get any work done." -- Mac.AppStorm (scored 9 out of 10)
"CloudPlay sits in the menu bar and plays while you work. It's simple, but works really well." -- Lifehacker
"I listen to music from a number of places while I’m working. It’s kind of a pain switching between [sources]. Until now. Meet CloudPlay." -- Cult of Mac

Soundcloud fail.. sort of solved.
1- I got this strictly to be able to stream songs from someone I follow on Soundcloud.. doing a search through this app, you cannot find particular artists, you can only find their tracks.. so unless you know the exact song name you want to hear, this won't work for you. Not useful, but seems like it could be an easy fix.
2 - update didn't fix what i was hoping it would fix. why can't i search for artists on sound cloud? it's like your teasing me.. c'mon devs.
3 - update 8/2 - ok, i figured it out. you cannot look up an artist directly on sound cloud. you have to look up the artist according to the their domain.
ex: i wanted to look up an artist, let's say his name is Best Rapper Ever. Searching for "Best Rapper Ever" yields no results. However, searching for "bestrapperever" works.
it's probably an api fail more than the fault of this developer, so i am giving some stars back ;)
Great app so far!
Was playing a 2 hour set through soundcloud when i thought to myself “I wish i didn’t have to have this tab open the entire time i listened to this.” Looked at the app store and this is the first thing i found.
Works great with allowing you to log into sound cloud and access your likes(Where most of my music is saved). Is very non invasive and very useful.
Only thing that i might improve my use just a tad bit is a way to bring it up in a stand alone window. Just so i could search a little bit more comfortably, but that is a very small detail.
Thanks for the great app guys!
One of the best
If you need a quick way to look for music, this is the best way to pile many of the disparate services together. The team continues to iterate and build meaning newer and newer services will be added. IMHO, one of the best ways to find new music.
