**Requires the Daylight Viewfinder eyepiece accessory**
Go to daylightviewfinder.com to purchase the eyepiece.
Take photos and videos even in the brightest sunlight. The eyepiece accessory blocks out all external light so you can clearly see the live camera image.
With your eye up to the viewfinder eyepiece, the Touch-Drag-Lift interface makes it easy to operate the camera.

What's New in Version 1.4.0
Focus & Exposure Lock
To lock the focus and exposure touch the middle part of the screen and drag the focus box to the location you want the camera to lock on and hold your finger there until the focus box expands and contracts (about two seconds). Then lift your finger off the screen. The lock icon will now appear on the lower part of the screen to indicate the focus and exposure are locked. To unlock the focus and exposure just tap the middle part of the screen or drag the focus box to a new subject that you want the camera to focus on and lift your finger.
Volume Button Shutter
You can now disable the ability to use the volume + button for the shutter. Go to the Settings App, select “Viewfinder” and then set the “Volume Button Shutter” switch to Off.
I hate any camera that doesn't have a viewfinder . . . I grew up peeking through viewfinders, so when I saw the "Daylight Viewfinder" on Photojojo I got one for my iPod Touch 5G . . . it came in the mail today and it's better than peeking through keyholes !!! I went outside (after I finished playing with the new dinosaur) and gave it a test . . .
Spot on SIG Innovations . . . it's simple and has a nice storage bag . . . and for the whiner who couldn't use it with his fav camera app . . . go change yer diaper . . .
I hike a lot and use a LifeProof case to completely enclose the iPhone for protection against dirt/water. The Daylight Viewfinder eyepiece for which this software is intended will not form a proper suction bond with the clear plastic window of the LifeProof case. Given that using Daylight Viewfinder also precludes using other photography apps such as ProCamera, for me the whole thing is a non-starter. I'll stick with my low tech solution for dealing with daylight glare on the iPhone which is to appropriately cut out an old floppy prescription eyeglass case so that the cover can be used as a "hood" when necessary.
Still acclimating to the interesting "on screen" iPhone viewfinder using this app. Time to update this app please.
