Open iTunes to buy and download apps.
If you are looking for a personal finance app that is convenient, easy to use and at the same time has enough features, then Debit & Credit is the right app for you.
• All Accounts in One App
Keeping financial records was always a bit of a hassle. But now you can actually enjoy it. See all your accounts in one place and switch between them with one simple touch.
• Super Fast
Creating a new transaction now takes a matter of seconds. It has never been easier with gestures and other features that we developed for you. And we will never require you to make dozens of unnecessary taps to accomplish simple tasks.
• Locations (Geotagging)
Shopping frequently at the same place? Save its location to record expenses even faster. You can also get a list of saved payees sorted by distance.
• Budgets & Scheduled Transactions
Do you want to budget expenses on a particular category? No problems. Do you plan to make a transaction in the future and want to be reminded about it? Consider it done.
We believe in clean, crisp reports that are easy to read and understand. See where and what do you spend your money on. Other types of reports are available too.
• iCloud Sync
We will never ask you to create an account or provide any personal details. All data is stored in iCloud, it is not available to anyone except you.
• Shared Accounts
Do you want to share some of your accounts with someone else? No problems, you can share selected accounts via iCloud while keeping other accounts private. Great for managing family finances!
• Bank reconciliation mode (iPad & Mac only)
Sometimes we all need extra help to keep our accounts in shape. You can easily reconcile your accounts with bank statements in the app to eliminate any disparities.
• Importing data
We know how important it is to be able to import transactions from your financial institutions. That's why we support CSV, QIF, QMTF, OFX and QFX files. And you can also choose which particular transactions to import from a file, something that not all financial apps know how to do.
• Color Themes
Eight color themes are available for selection in the app settings in case if you want to customize your experience.
• Powerful features
Split categories, pending transactions, transaction export, file attachments (with sync), transaction tags, 3D Touch and Touch ID support, printing reports and saving them as PDF files - all those and many other features are at your disposal when you need them.
• Mac version of the app
You can download OS X version of the app on the Mac App Store. It has even more features (including super useful widget for adding new transactions) and syncs fast with the iOS companion via iCloud.
In the free version of the app you can create an unlimited number of transactions every day. However, to have more than two accounts in the app, you will need to purchase Premium version for $2.99.

What's New in Version 2.1
Improvements to pending transactions:
• Now you can see uncleared account balance (calculated including pending transactions). Tap on account balance when in transaction history to switch to uncleared account balance.
• Option to create pending transactions by default (available in the extra options when creating a transaction).
• Pending transactions are now included into account balance forecast and "What will happen to my wealth?" report.
Other improvements and fixes:
• Completed scheduled transactions are now grouped separately.
• Balance forecast report graph displays additional axis at zero if your account balance will become negative in the future.
• Future dated transactions that fall into current budget period are now included into budgets.
• Search improvements. Now when searching for a whole amount (e.g. 35) the app displays all transactions with similar amounts (e.g. 35.31, 35.95).
• If you share your accounts with someone else, you can enter his name in the search field to find transactions that he created or edited.
• In-app calculator makes keyboard clicking sounds when you tap on it (if system wide keyboard clicks are enabled)
• Improvements related to sharing accounts with other users.

One of a kind App
I have been using the app for about two years now. It's functionality meets and at time exceeds my needs. If your good at putting in your transactions at the POS it will auto populate where you are or two to theee locations in proximity. You can snap pictures of receipts too so you'll always know what you purchased and the detailed transactions. This has helped me with budgeting as well as grocery deals. If I'm at Aldis and want to know if rice cakes are cheaper at Walmart I just pull up my last receipt. I've only recently gotten into the budgeting portion and tags, but they are amazing. I can tell you how much we spend in groceries and gas a month at a glance. It tells me if I'm going over and I can adjust my budget accordingly or the tags will allow me to tag items that were out of my ordinary budget. For instance during Thanksgiving I knew we would have additional gas mileage so I tagged it as a Holiday so that when I go over budget I can see that it was only because of the Holiday and no adjustments were necessary. In short you're going to love this app it's has everything you need except the overly complicated dashboards. I've even started using it to track my cash, but I round to the dollar amount so I don't have to track the change. Hope it works as great for you as it does for me.
One of the best out there!
I started out with Spend Book and enjoyed using it, except it would not allow me to sync with other devices. So as I started looking to upgrade I downloaded Debit & Credit, Mint, Coinkeeper, MoneyCoach and Finances; all of which I purchased the 'premium' upgrades(except Mint), to max out each apps capabilities.
After testing all, I realized they all pretty much offer the same capabilities, with the main differences being how each app displays its reporting functions(charts, analytics) and how pleasing to the eye they look when using the app.
Debit & Credit is not the most visually pleasing of the bunch, but unlike other apps that I have used, delivers on all capabilities touted by the developer.
Of special note are a couple of enhancements that the others do not have:
Ability to attach files(Word,Excel,PDF), to each transaction other than photos and the ability to import csv files that actually work! This is no small feat as all the others failed to import my files from my previous app. Debit & Credit did this with a user friendly interface and allowed me to quickly transfer my csv file over with virtually everything intact! Ease of use is another good reason to purchase Debit & Credit, as navigating is intuitive and logical.
It could use a few more visual enhancements, but even without the visuals, it still gets 5 stars!
5 Stars even though it's not yet perfect for me.
Another former iReconcile user here (about 4 years). But had to find something better since iReconcile developer dropped off the face of the earth a couple years ago, and while the app still works it's only a matter of time before it doesn't.
Can live without reconciling on the iPhone since there's a Mac app that syncs via iCloud that can reconcile - woohoo.
Liked the way iReconcile has sub-totals of uncleared balance at the date level, but have found workarounds in Debit $ Credit.
Prefer the way you don't have to enter decimals in iReconcile, but not a deal breaker to have to with this app.
Wish I didn't have to dig into extra options to enter a future transaction date, but I only enter a few of those per week when paying bills anyway, so again not a deal breaker but an inconvenience.
Purchased the premium even though I don't need the premium features because it is the best app of this type, and I want to support the developer to ensure this doesn't end up abandoned like my last checkbook app.
Key items that make this worthy of 5 stars:
iCloud sync instead of proprietary method.
Companion Mac and iPad apps.
NO subscription - I avoid subscriptions unless that's my only option.
Nice clean design.
