3.On the mode select tap "Devil Trigger" to play as either "Devil Trigger state Nero" or "Dante".
You can only play "Devil Trigger" on "mission skip mode" and " Bloody Palace".

I Refrained From Playing This Game All Right
This game looks ok until you play better ones. The environments are repetitive, enemies/bosses especially can have too much HP, and the whole continuing by sacrificing your rank for the level makes it pointless to even bother playing. It could have been done better if they made the bosses have less HP rather than feel you're attacking with rubber bullets and a butter knife.
Lastly, the load times are annoying and I can't stand the respawning enemies should there be a maze or I have to revisit an area. Just play something better that also has platforming like Assassin's Creed Altair's Chronicles or Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. This game has still shots and those games have actual cutscenes.
I also had technical issues with this game, such as no sound with headphones and a now connecting where I had to restart my iPod. It really isn't worth playing, and I got it when it was at $.99
Pretty good, but could be better. Definitely repetitive.

The graphics are not groundbreaking, but are pretty good. Think early PSP or late PSX types of graphics. They could be a lot better, but they're not bad.
The gameplay is pretty solid, not many glitches (I've not encountered any). You can somewhat customize how you attack but there does need to be more customization for where the buttons and maps are. Essentially, it's a pretty fun game on it's own.
However, do not expect this to be DMC 4 in your pocket. It's repetitive, the maps don't change by the floor you're on (meaning you might be searching frantically for a door that's on the 2nd floor), every room is pretty much just a small square with enemies in them, and many of the moves are, to be blunt, dumb with how they expect you to pull them off. For instance, pressing a direction twice then the jump button is a really difficult thing to do in the time given for a boss to attack you.
Anyway, if you find it for a buck or two, you won't be disappointed, but more than that is too much. Plus, there's no in-app purchases, it's a full and complete game.
Honestly, why hold back Capcom?
You make a port of my favorite game of my favorite series by your company and not only do you take stages out, you make us get key items through means not related with the story line. I have to a get a D rank on my entire play through just to get the sephirothic fruit? Naw, Capcom, naw. What are you guys doing? Don't get me wrong this is a good port but I'm highly disappointed with the lack of things. Small, few things, but isn't it the small things that bother us the most? I have to beat Bloody Palace to use Devil Trigger? What the HELL is that!? Come on. You guys know we got that prior to the story. Wake up Capcom.
