Failed to complete booking but charged card
So I tried to use the app to book a flight over the holidays. The process went smooth until the credit card was charged. The app said the charge failed. I know my bank can be a little defensive so I just used the web and a different bank card. But when I looked at the statement for my original card, the charge for the flights went through.
Called the help line and they had me fill in a request for a ticket refund. They had to give me the reference number and ticket numbers to submit—I never had those. Now I wait 14-21 days for a refund to my credit card that should never have happened.
Bottom line, use at your peril and watch your bank statements.

Boarding Pass & Baggage Tracking
1. Digital Boarding Pass in the app/wallet is a great feature. Today was the first time I used it for my international trip and I loved it. However, I was surprised that it did not display the Gate information, neither at the originating airport nor in Dubai. Gate number is logical info on a boarding pass.
2. Baggage Tracking feature: Enhance this feature to track our bags not only when a PIR is logged but also on a as-and-when basis. I should just be able to scan my baggage tags given to me and it should tell me where my bags are.

What a terrible app. Slow And unresponsive at the best of times but the icing on the cake is the session handling. Quit completely and relaunch (more than once), try and search to book a flight... “session expired” error. No, I just quit and restarted the app, I have no session, I think to myself, but whatever I do I can’t even start the search for a flight. Seems like Emirates doesn’t want my business!
Useless, terrible app with a lazy web frame in the app instead of doing it properly - whoever wrote this should be ashamed, and then fired.
1* only because zero stars isn’t an option.
