GREAT app!! Couple problems
The app keeps crashing while I'm trying to read something. It is happening more frequently than in the past. Please look into this so I don't have to delete this app.
Sometimes I try to send a story to my email and it won't open correctly - has happened a few times. But when I close the app and re-open it, everything works. Another issue I have come across, and I don't know if it's the cnn website or feedly that causes it, but when I open a story that comes from the cnn website, the page doesn't scroll easily and will *stick as you try to go down the page. Other times the story will just crash. Again, it may be the CNN website and not feedly causing the problem, just wanted to point that out.
This is a great app that I really like so I can keep up with various updates from different sites, keep up the good work 😉
I was not happy about the ios9 only update. My phone updates apps automatically so I was already in this new version before finding out, and couldn't go back. I've had to update to iOS 9 now even though I did not want or plan to. the new app version is lacking, as many others have noted. The opening new articles in safari thing is thx worst though. You've doubled the time to open and load new articles. It's also less intuitive to cleanup articles, and I really hate how far back up I have to scroll to get the done button to appear. It's also now on the right. because of this, instead of two quick taps on the left corner carrot to go back, you have to scroll up far, then tap the right corner then tap the left. The number 1 thing I want from this is to move efficiently through my articles with the fewest taps and the least amount of need to move my finger around the screen. This is Not efficient at all.
Feedly redeemed itself! almost...
Now locks up completely every time I use iOS sharing to send an article from safari webview to evernote or anywhere else.
constantly having to exit app, force quit and relaunch. half the time my share to evernote fails and i have to find article again and try again.
fix this. stop releasing junk. test the features before releasing a new version. i'll help you write a manual regression script if you don't understand QA. this is unacceptable.
The new app is almost perfect again.
In the browser:
*can swipe right to go back to preview again.
* the button to save to your favorite saving tool (Evernote for me) is still gone in the browser, but iOS sharing, though slower, is adequate. miss the old way a lot.
* the button to send to your favorite sharing tool (Buffer) in the browser is still gone, but iOS sharing is adequate.
* the button to clean up format for readability in the browser has been replaced by Safari readability button, which is adequate.
Evernote integration in article previews works again!
* Pull up to close in browser is gone. Please bring it back.
My super-efficient workflow is back a little. Having to quit and relaunch Feedly after constant lockups is unacceptable. I am a Feedly Pro customer, have converted tons of people to using Feedly. Starting to look around, very disappointed. Can't stand this major of a drop in usability.
