What's New in Version 3.6.9
Improved play time for you and me.
Buggy and unintuitive, but fun
If it weren't for the NEVER-ENDING bugs and unintuitive UI, this app would be fantastic. I'd never pay for Tinder, but I'd pay for this -- if it worked. Although I like the FB verification, it's ridiculous that there is no way to add more pics. Why not have a badge to show which photos are verified and which aren't? The pictures show up ridiculously zoomed in, and there's no way to crop out your friends. The pics I want to show to potential hookups are NOT the same ones I post for family and coworkers. There is no way to set a distance range/limit, and everyone shows as being either 2 miles or 300 miles away, never in between or greater. I don't even know why this app has a Settings panel because there's basically nothing you can change or customize. The premium subscription needs a huge overhaul. There is also no reason to have a huge "Majestic Member" badge on pictures. Why do other users need to know this? Also what the hell is that weird orange blurry dot that moves around while you're messaging people?
Annoying bugs: messages disappear or appear out of order, constant crashing, slow loading, profiles merging in Lookaround, interests and desires can only be one word.
When the app improves, I'll change my review.
If you are trans, forget it
To begin with, they have only one category for all gender-nonconforming people. It's called "transsexual/transvestite/transgender." So trans men, trans women, gender fluid and gender queer people, and people who cross-dress for fun are all thrown Into the same bucket.
In addition, you can never change your gender, so if you are trying to figure out who you are, you'd better just make your best guess. If you're wrong, better use another app, because you can't ever associate Feeld with a different Facebook page.
My favorite part, though, is that you must use your main profile picture from Facebook as your main pic in the app. That means if you are trans and closeted, the only way to use this app is to literally out yourself to your friends, family and coworkers. Insulting and unusable: one star.
Horribly slow and buggy
This app has such potential, but it's painful to navigate. It's so slow it leaves me wondering if they're hosting it on a server in their basement. The UI isn't intuitive and it makes you wait on the look around screen forever. Why can't I pull up the menu or my matches while look around loads in the background? Messaging is also painfully slow leading most folks (myself included) to post their kik on their profile to skip the pain of using this app. Plenty of weird bugs too, such as occasionally appearing to match with yourself (which is weird) when you actually match with someone else. I'm surprised that anyone pays for this, as it acts like an app that's still in beta testing (and has been for years.)
